Home again!!!

Hello all,

Thanks for dropping by.
Ok, first the yadayada about my health...
The doctors know what's with my foot.
It's called CPRS or Morbus Sudeck.
Kinda hard to explain, but it is an over-reaction of the body on a (small) injury.
Sounds simple but it took them so long to figure out because I can't remember any injury.
(The also discovered a broken rib I didn't know about, but that is an old injury they say. It just never healed and never will unless I take an OP.)
They're going to treat my foot with Bisphosphonate, I'll just have to wait and see if it brings anything.
Allright, enough about that now.

Of course I took my crochet-thingies with me to the hospital.

My Hexagon Granny Throw is ready!!!
Next time I'll show you a picture of it.
In the mean time I can show you.......

The collection I'm making for the Wintergarden...

And the Throw I've started for the little Lady...

Well, I hope I can start blogging more frequently from now on.
I wish you all a lovely Sunday.

Bad times.....

Well, I have little time to blog,
Im in the hospital.
But they are really trying to find out what is going on.
I am walking again, very slowly, and it still hurts,
but it makes me very happy.
I´m keeping myself busy with crochet.
I`ll try to put some pictures up, but somehow that won´t work now.

Hexagon Madness?

My lovely almost 16 year old son got on his bike and got me these colors.
The store he bought it in is 21km away from where we live!

I saw some Hexagons on Attic24 and I decided to make a throw and a few pillows for my wintergarden.
So... the same lovely almost 16 year old son, got on his bike again and got me.....

Isn't he sweet? 84 km on a bike, just to make his mother happy?

I started with the hexagons.

Well, my husband saw the hexagons and is now booking me a long holiday on the Funny Farm I guess.
But anyway... I like it!

I'm back again.

Hello all,

Sorry for not keeping my blog up to date.
I've been sooo tired lately.
Well, I´m kinda sick actualy.
Had severe anemia, and they think I have polyneuropathy in my right foot.
Had blood transfushion in February and I can´t walk since January.
Now my blood is somewhat ok, exept my liver is not happy yet.
they haven`t figured out what is going on,
but it is making me tired and unconcentrated.
I reduced my consuming painkillers down to 2 500mg paracetamol a day.
Only when I have to go somewhere, I take more.
Most of the day I spend sitting on a bed in our livingroom.
This all sounds a lot like complaining, I know.
But there is a nice side about it........
I can crochet and knit all day long if I want to!!!
The ´´Daisy Square Purse´´ is allmost finished,
the lining will have to wait untill I can use my sewingmachine again.

Pictures of the other things I´m making/made will follow soon......

Finally finiched the doily!
It turned out ok, but it has to be washed and ironed yet.

Now I've started to make another purse

Maybe I'll put the pattern for the squares online,
but I'll have to write them first.
That will be a challange!

Shoot!! barely started this blog... my internet-connection failed!!!
But i'm back!
In the meanwhile I tried to finish that doily.
Pattern available here:Mantilla Doily
But I had to do Row 21 4 times
because of the mistakes I made.
Was so fed up with myself
that I've made a fried egg because my brain felt like that.

Doily after Row 10

Doily halfway Row 21
Now I've reached row 27 ingoring mistakes I made.
Just hoping to finish it soon.
I started it because I wanted to improve my crochet-skills,
but as it turnes out I realise that I never will be good at crochet at all

Just another day

Today I made a hairband to match the red flowerbag/backpack for my daughter,
I hope she likes it!

Now I want to make her a cardigan with one button on the front, but I don't have a pattern yet.

I started to crochet my first doily ever!
A pattern from Coats & Clark,
next post I'll include a picture and a link to the free PDF download.
